Hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) and the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT), the event brought together governments, corporations, and industry experts from more than 70 countries and over 200 cities. Participants presented innovative smart city technologies and cutting-edge products while engaging in discussions on the future development of smart cities.
At the exhibition, WAVUS introduced its core solutions, including Mappick, GeOnPaaS, GeOnDT, and GeOnAirX, while providing visitors with hands-on opportunities to experience the technologies firsthand.
Mappick is a subscription-based map creation and sharing platform designed for both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) applications. Built on WAVUS’s proprietary cloud platform, GeOnPaaS, Mappick enables users to easily integrate various geospatial datasets into maps and create customized maps using their own data.
GeOnDT and GeOnAirX are digital twin-based integrated Urban Air Mobility (UAM) control solutions that replicate real-world environments in virtual space, enabling users to conduct simulations, spatial analyses, and operational planning in a highly realistic digital environment.
During the event, WAVUS met with more than 20 overseas buyers and government representatives from countries including Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia to explore opportunities for international cooperation and market expansion. Leveraging the information and networks established through the exhibition, the company plans to further refine its global business strategy.
The event was also attended by representatives from Arkadag Smart City in Turkmenistan, a project in which WAVUS’s affiliated company, S&T System, participated in system implementation. The delegation expressed strong interest in Korea’s smart city technologies and development experience.
Through S&T System, WAVUS is exploring opportunities to expand smart city projects in Turkmenistan. The company plans to broaden its business portfolio into smart city platforms, public safety solutions, transportation management systems, and Internet of Things (IoT)-based urban infrastructure management.
A WAVUS representative stated, “The solutions showcased by WAVUS were developed to simplify the management and utilization of complex geospatial information. By providing data visualization capabilities, spatial analysis functions, and developer support tools, we expect to significantly improve convenience and operational efficiency for geospatial service providers.”
Meanwhile, WAVUS was awarded the Minister of Science and ICT Award during the event in recognition of its outstanding technological innovation and competitiveness. The company received high praise for efficiently collecting and analyzing urban data through its solutions, improving city management efficiency, and delivering enhanced services to citizens.
